Continuing my series of vintage guides, this is the second edition of a special “Vienna vintage guide”.
My first post was about Burggasse 24. This one is another unique second hand store, located in a hidden and small side street of Vienna’s sixth district. It’s called “Kleider gehen um” which means “clothes go around” in English.
After a long and tiring day at University or work, I always love to spend my time here and I’m actually always forgetting the time as soon as entering this vintage shop. This place makes one forget everything around and just focus on the beauty of vintage. I’m able to spend two or even three hours here, without having the feeling of missing something!
Next to selected vintage wear, a nice decoration and lovely interior design, the owner itself is such a warm and kind person, passionate about vintage fashion. She loves to talk about her clothes and has a great eye for the styling of retro looks.
Besides a selection of vintage coats/jackets, the shop offers many classy white or patterned silk blouses (in all kinds of nice colours), floral summer dresses and dark elegant dresses/skirts during winter season, casual and colourful pants, chic shoes and sandals during summer season, bags, sweaters and recently also a small selection of eyewear.
“This vintage store is a real jewel of Vienna! You will find great pieces with a high quality for reasonable prices. To me this store feels like one of the best places in Vienna to get inspired by the styles of past times in a charming atmosphere.”
Adress: Webgasse 4, 1060 Vienna (reach it by the underground line U2 “Museumsquartier” and bus line “57A” direction “Rudolfsheim”, bus stop: “Brückengasse”)
